NPRA Malaysia Announces Implementation of Pilot Project for Pharmaceutical Track and Trace for Vaccines

The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) Malaysia has announced their plan to develop a Pharmaceutical Track & Trace system that will cover the entire supply chain, in July 2022.

The system will cover the entire supply chain (end-to-end), starting from product registration holders (PRH), manufacturers and importers up to the end user.

The implementation of the pilot project will take place for 6 months and is expected to start from January 2023 to June 2023.

All the vaccines listed in the National Immunization Programme are involved in this pilot project.
