Singapore HSA Updates Guidelines on Voluntary Electronic Labelling for Complementary Health Products

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) Singapore has published the updated guidance document on voluntary electronic labelling for complementary health products (CHP) in August 2022.

There are some questions and answers included under Appendix 1, where it is mentioned that the types of CHP relevant for the e-labelling are Chinese Proprietary Medicines (CPM), Health Supplements (HS), Traditional Medicines (TM) and any other CHP deemed suitable by HSA.

If there are any label updates, the e-labels will have to be updated within 30 days of approval (of any label change).

More details can be found in “Guidelines on Voluntary Electronic Labelling for Complementary Health Products, Version 2, August 2022”: https://www.hsa.gov.sg/docs/default-source/hprg-tmhs/chpb-tmhs/chp_vel_guidelines.pdf
