Korea MFDS, Singapore HSA and Switzerland Swissmedic are the first 3 countries to be listed as WHO-Listed Authorities (WLA).

This marks a significant milestone for the 3 countries that have been designated as WHO-Listed Authorities ( WLA), these 3 regulatory authorities meet WHO and other internationally recognized standards and practices

WLA ( WHO-Listed Authority) is a regulatory authority which has been documented to comply with all the indicators requirements specified by WHO for the requested scope of listing based on established benchmarking and performance evaluation process

The implementation of WLA Framework is to promote access and supply of safe, effective, and quality medical products. This would enable to optimally use the limited resources by facilitating reliance on the work products and decisions of trusted agencies in the decision making of regulatory authorities, the WHO Prequalification program and procurement agencies
